Finally Started Talking

It’s a beautiful thing to start using your voice. It’s beautiful to express your thoughts without fear. We all fear judgement from others, and judgement from that inner critic inside our head. But it’s that precise fear that holds us back from living. It’s that searching for approval that keeps us locked in and scared to create.

Many of us hope to one day finally be ‘good enough’ to speak, finally know enough to share, or experience enough to teach. But fear often holds us back from starting, holds us back from experiencing, and holds us back from sharing. Fear keeps us from using our imagination to dream.

I’m constantly reminding myself to let go of that. I’ll never be ‘good enough’, because ‘good enough’ never existed. Instead, I am whole, even as a work in progress.

Drop the mask and feel peace.

Stop the race, and finally move forward.

Safety is sometimes the most dangerous place to reside.

Searching for approval, leads to rejection

… Funny how life is full of paradoxes.
