Write It Down

As a teacher, it’s my job to share the things I learn with others. It’s my job to help others see their best selves. It’s probably my favorite and most fulfilling part of my job.

  • So here’s something I’d like to share with you that has been very beneficial in my own life. Start a journal. Start a journal and give yourself room to write about the things you’re going through. Share the things you learn, experience, and would like to share with others in your journal.

  • You don’t necessarily have to make it public, and you don’t need to share everything with everyone. Please don’t share everything. But there is benefit to sharing.

  • A journal/ blog gives you a platform to create. It’s a break from constant consumption, and instead focuses on creation. There’s no limit to what you can write or when you can write it.

  • it’s also a great way to organize your thoughts, and build your ideas! Everything I’ve built thus far with my book Idea has been built in a slow succession of ideas. I am 100% confident that I would not have had as many ideas as I’ve had, or been able to do all the exciting things I’m doing if I had not first recorded and processed my thoughts in a journal.

  • The world needs you. People need your ideas. Whatever you’re going through, someone else is also experiencing it. What better way to work through your own life, and make someone else’s life better, than to share your process with people like you.

  • You can write. You don’t have to understand it or plan it all out. You just have to start. Then you can be a teacher, and a creative for others.
