I played football in high school for a pretty prestigious Missouri football program (Camdenton) under a very well known and respected head coach, Bob Shore, the second most winningest all time HS football coach in Missouri.

While playing in that program, I learned a lot about football, having pride in what you do, and what it looks like to be a part of a successful team under his leadership.

One of the things that has always stuck in my head that he used to say to us, was that a team never stays the same throughout a season. It either gets better or it gets worse.

Thats a good life lesson. You can’t stay the same. Things change and you either put in the effort to get better, or you get worse.
