New Direction
The old me hit walls too big for me to climb.
The old me saw paths I couldn’t traverse.
The old me lived in fear, and masked it as safety.
The old me had the same dreams I have now, but assumed those dreams were only meant for someone else.
The old me was stuck at the end of a dead end road that only I, myself, had created.
So I chose a new direction, one that hasn’t been traveled before, at least not by me. I picked the road I don’t know much about, and scares me the most. I picked the biggest challenge, and bet on myself.
There’s always time for a new direction. There’s always a new path that could be created. Not all paths are paved, but that doesn’t mean you can’t pave them. As long as God let’s me keep walking, I will.
