Scratches, Scars, & Perfectionism
Definition: Perfection
The condition of being free or as free as possible from all flaws or defects.
The action or process of improving something until it is faultless or as faultless as possible.
Perfection is a flawless state where everything is exactly right. It can also be the action of making something perfect. Since perfect things are without fault or flaw, perfection is a perfect condition — everything is 100% great.
Perfection only works so long as you never make a mistake. It’s a high pressure, suffocating way to live, that’s unattainable.
I’ve got too many scratches, and scars to be perfect. I’m also just tired of trying to project that image. I don’t think I fooled anybody. I’m ready for change.
