Is That Selfish?…

Are we selfish if we decide that we’ve been consuming so much noise from the outside, we feel we we need to take a break from it so we can hear our own voice?

Is it selfish if we start taking control of who and what we let in?

Is it selfish if we have a dream that we feel will help people, so we block out every distraction in order to create it?

Is it selfish if we recognize our own weakness enough to make drastic changes, and maybe even cut off a little more than we needed for a time being?

Is it selfish if I want to be a creator, more than a consumer?

Is it selfish if I try to find a better me? Is it selfish that I don’t care to be like everyone else?

If that’s selfish, then I’m sorry, but that’s the route I’m taking.
