It’s Scary…

It’s scary to talk.

It’s scary to share.

It’s scary to be honest with yourself and honest with others.

It’s scary to take risk, and scary to pursue goals.

It’s scary to make and keep commitments.

It’s scary to walk in a different direction.

It’s scary to take breaks and to miss out.

It’s scary to make change.

All of these things are scary, for sure; but the alternative is to stay the same. The alternative is to play it safe, and to be ignored. There’s no reward without risk, and you can never be noticed if you always do everything the same as everyone else. Even worse, you’ll never find yourself if you spend all your time looking to follow everything everyone else is doing.
